Security and hospitality
You will secure our state-of-the-art office building in the heart of Amsterdam as well as our ultra-secure cash centre in Zeist. In these two completely different worlds, you can develop further in all aspects of the security profession. You will learn how to switch effortlessly from hospitality to security and back again. DNB holds the gold stock of the Netherlands , a top-quality art collection and a very exclusive collection of rare coins. In other words, a huge treasure chest that you will help secure.

Developing as a security professional
As a general security officer at DNB, you will first learn the ins and outs of our buildings and procedures. After that, you will be trained as a security control room operator. As a control room operator you will be mainly working in Zeist, but you will also continue to do regular security work. It’s a versatile and varied job, from which you can advance to a senior position or coordinating role.

Security is a 24/7 job. Our team of experienced and new security guards is professional and committed. As a security guard, you will work day, evening and night shifts according to a regular schedule. That way, you always know where you stand well in advance. And working in alternating shifts obviously comes with a generous irregular hours allowance.

Week 1/ Ploeg A – Op maandag, dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag nacht draai je nachtdiensten van 23:00 tot 7:30. Op vrijdag 7:30 begint je weekend, op zaterdag en zondag ben je vrij.
Week 2/ Ploeg B – Deze week draai je vroegdiensten van 7:00 tot 15:30 op maandag, dinsdag, woensdag zaterdag en zondag. Op donderdag en vrijdag ben je vrij.
Week 3/ Ploeg C – Deze week draai je avonddiensten van 15:00 tot 23:30 op maandag, dinsdag woensdag. Donderdag ben je vrij. Van vrijdag tot zondag beginnen je nachtdiensten van 23:00 tot 7:30.
Week 4/ Ploeg D – Zondag op maandag geldt als eerste nacht van de nieuwe week (4). Je komt dus uit een weekend met nachtdiensten. Maandag om 7:30 ben je vrij tot en met woensdag. Op donderdag, vrijdag zaterdag en zondag draai je de avonddiensten van 15:00 tot 23:30.
Week 5/ Ploeg E – Deze week start je met twee vrije dagen, maandag en dinsdag. Op woensdag donderdag en vrijdag draai je vroegdiensten van 7:00 tot 15:30. Op zaterdag en zondag ben je weer vrij.
Week 6/ ploeg F - Deze week staat de helft van je ploeg (6A) ingedeeld op maandag t/m donderdag van 08:30 tot 18:00 uur. Op vrijdag begint je weekend op zaterdag en zondag ben je vrij. De andere helft van je ploeg (6B), staat in diezelfde week, maandag op vrij (dit maakt een lang weekend met de zaterdag en zondag van week 5), op dinsdag t/m vrijdag van 08:30 tot 18:00 uur ingedeeld, zaterdag en zondag ben je vrij.
Voor een gelijke verdeling binnen je ploeg verspringt deze week in de volgende 7 weken.
Week 7/ploeg H – Je staat van maandag tot vrijdag van 07:00 tot 15:30 uur ingepland. Dit geldt als je consignatie/ flex week waarin je op andere tijden (let op: geldt ook voor zaterdag en zondag) kan worden ingezet als andere collega’s ziek zijn en uitvallen. Salary
At DNB, you will receive a competitive salary, with the pay scale depending on the knowledge and experience you bring to the job.
A total gross annual income between €35,350 and €48,400 including 13th month, 8% holiday pay and freely disposable personal budget, based on a 36-hour working week.
In addition, you will receive a fixed irregular hours allowance of 19.5% on your gross basic monthly salary (excluding 13th month, 8% holiday pay and personal budget). You can take the fixed irregular hours allowance into account when applying for a mortgage, for example.
You will also receive an additional allowance for your on-call/flex week.
